Accompanying the AW12 collection is the Trans-Siberian Journey campaign; celebrating the Issa woman’s classic powers of attraction on board the iconic train from Moscow to Beijing’s Forbidden City.

Photographed by Jon Compson, who captures the decadence, glamour and tradition of a lost era to provide the perfect backdrop to this season’s opulent, feminine designs. Issa’s Creative Director, Daniella Helayel was inspired by the many stages of the Trans-Siberian Express; starting with the romantic and impressive skyline of Moscow. Alongside the traditional paisley prints of Russian dolls, the unique turrets of St. Basil’s Cathedral are translated into a series of whimsical prints. Shimmering gold dresses and velvet eveningwear have been inspired by the days when Tsars ruled. The train continues its journey into the Mongolian wilderness and this proves to be the perfect starting point for a series of luxurious, wool-cashmere outerwear. Arriving at the final metropolis in a triumphant blaze of China red, the Issa woman adorns herself in a show-stopping lace dress and striking prints inspired by the city’s heritage.
